Grandma Laney came with me to get Payton's pictures done. It's been a few months and she has changed so much since her last ones that I decided to go get them done. Payton now weighs 20lbs. and has a roll or two on her arms and legs. It's okay though because it makes her look so cute. She has a lot of personality and attitude. When she doesn't want something she lets you know. Since we've started her on food this is very apparent. We tried doing bananas and she made a face of disgust and dodged the spoon for the next bite. When she smiles it takes her almost a minute because she can't do it with out doing her little dance before the smile reaches her face. Grandpa Hurd and Grandma Laney have the best luck and getting her laughing which is so cute that it bums me out when she stops. We always do a big BBQ at Perry's Grandma Ruthie's for the fourth and she had a blast. Her cousin Cameron whose 4 tried to share his sparkler with her and quickly took it from her when it started getting to close to our mouth. He told her "No don't eat it Payton, watch, see!" Then he showed her how to twirl it. She's began teething so everything needs to go to our mouth. She thinks Daddy's glasses and everyone fingers taste the best. She wasn't afraid of the fireworks and liked the lights. Perry had work the next day so we didn't get to see the big firework show but we sure had fun with the ones that the family lit off.
